The cake is 8” (20cms) in diameter and stands at around 4” (10cms) high, weighing in at approximately 2kg. It has a rich chocolate fudge icing running through the centre, plastered around the outside and over the top of its moist chocolate sponge. It is fundamentally the same whole chocolate fudge cake we sell in our shop, except the ones we send by post to you are surrounded with a layer of chocolate shavings.
When we receive your order we’ll bake your cake that day, once it has cooled we’ll ice it and then once the icing has set we’ll package and send it to you by courier ensuring it arrives in one piece. In other words we need around 3 days notice and we’ll happily get it delivered to you Monday-Friday anywhere in the mainland UK (unfortunately there is an extra charge to deliveries in Scotland depending on your Postal Code; but non the less we can still get it to you).
It is a perfect gift for any occasion or a nice gesture to a neighbour for looking after your pet, we are able to enclose a gift card with your cake should you wish to include a message with the parcel, you could even say that you made it yourself for a dinner party because all of our cakes are individually handmade and therefore do not appear mass produced.
